The purpose of this site is to encourage a rigorous study of the basic elements of the metaphysics of the human condition, with a view to seeing the extent to which we are able – using our everyday commonsense judgment – to expand our understanding of ourselves, and of our everyday human predicament.
Perhaps then – if we can get that far – we can take a look at whether or not our efforts at self-understanding have been of any real use in dissipating the mysterious darkness which lies at the very heart of our often perplexing existence.
